CHARTER SCHOOLS
The first laws governing charter schools were enacted in 1991. Charter schools can cater to the needs of students, parents, and educators by offering school choice. They are open to all students and do not charge tuition. Charter schools are held to the same academic standards as traditional public schools but have much more flexibility in their operations, curriculum, and staffing.
choice & POSSIBILITY
Today, there are an estimated 7,800 public charter schools in 46 states and the District of Columbia. Over 3.7 million students across the country attend a charter school, accounting for about seven percent of the total school-age population in the United States.
Over the past twenty years, we have been fortunate to partner in developing charter schools nationwide. These partnerships have allowed us to advance our passion for education and school choice. Each partnership provides us with greater insight and expertise, allowing us to create a replicable process to build successful charter schools with experienced operators.
